Neverness to Everness (NTE) is set to receive its biggest content update yet. Developer Hotta World and publisher Perfect World will launch Version 1.4, titled "For Whom the Verses Mourn," on September 30 across PC (Windows/macOS/Linux via Proton), PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms.

The free-to-play supernatural urban open-world game continues to expand the streets of Hethereau with new explorable areas, playable characters, vehicles, and mysteries.

Pukaland Theme Park Finally Opens

One of the most anticipated additions in Version 1.4 is the long-awaited opening of Pukaland, the theme park that has remained inaccessible since the game's launch. The familiar landmark transforms into a fully explorable area with four distinct zones:

Puka Avenue – Features the Pendulum, Spinning Octopus, and Drop Tower, with a button-input minigame challenging players to climb higher

Cakehill – Home to the Flora Maze, where players race against stamina depletion

Spooky Cookies – A haunted house where players must avoid lurking inhabitants

Lavaton – A volcanic landscape with a thrilling roller coaster ride

The Wonderlog system tracks activities and rewards across the park. Players earn Puka Stars at attractions, which can be exchanged for souvenirs and other items. Familiar characters will also join the festivities throughout the park.

When night falls, players can gather around Pukatopia Castle to watch fireworks illuminate the sky—though with anomalies involved, even a day at the theme park can take unexpected turns.

New Character: Blackbird the Witch

Just in time for spooky season, the enigmatic witch Blackbird joins NTE's playable roster on September 30, alongside the return of "Ketchup Demon" Lacrimosa.

Blackbird's story begins with a mysterious plea for help that draws the usually homebound witch out into the unknown. Beyond her narrative, she offers a distinctive new way to explore the open world—she can transform into a bird and take to the skies. Character interactions allow her to hold hands with the protagonist and even take them flying. Three outfits offer additional ways to showcase her personality and style.

New Anomaly Commissions

Version 1.4 brings new Anomaly Commissions to Hethereau, expanding the city's collection of strange and supernatural encounters:

Wait for a Ghost Bus late at night surrounded by unusual passengers

Search a dream for a hidden anomaly while avoiding lurking monsters

Investigate when everyday objects suddenly become enormous

These new commissions will become permanent additions to Hethereau.

Second Porsche Collaboration

The second NTE × Porsche collaboration shifts into gear with two new vehicles:

Porsche 911 Turbo (930)

Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package

The Porsche 918 Spyder also makes its return, giving players who missed the first collaboration another chance to add it to their collection.

Version 1.4 also opens the Porsche Club, offering free customisation including special liveries, performance parts, exclusive furniture, titles, namecards, phone wallpapers, and cases.
